Anemoi Marine Technologies is a British engineering company specialising in wind propulsion technology for commercial ships. The technology, Rotor Sails, are modern mechanical sails which, when driven to spin, harness the renewable power of the wind to reduce emissions and fuel consumption on commercial ships. After a substantial period of research and development, Anemoi is rolling out the technology across the global shipping fleet to help the maritime industry reach it's decarbonisation targets and help comply with the International Maritime Organisation's regulations. Anemoi's head office is based in London, but is supported by offices in Southampton and China. The Manufacturing set up is in the Jiangsu province of China, where the components making up the Rotor Sails are produced, including the composite rotor skin, the steel tower and electrical and control.
